8. Jacques Rougeau

The Harts of Calgary, Canada, immediately come to mind, but another Canadian family of note are the Rougeaus, the most notable of which is Jacques. Debuting in the WWE in 1986, Jacques and his brother Raymond performed as The Fabulous Rougeaus, achieving an unrecognised title reign during their initial face run before notoriously turning heel and portraying themselves as All-American boys under the tutelage of Jimmy Hart. Raymond (the elder of the two brothers) retired in 1990, leaving Jacques as a solo performer. He became 'The Mountie', a supposedly corrupt member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that would shock opponents with a cattle prod. Rougeau would win the Intercontinental Championship under the gimmick, albeit holding the title for just two days before dropping it to 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper at the 1992 Royal Rumble event, where he wasn't a participant in the 30-man bout. In 1993, Jacques would be repackaged again, competing in a tag team known as the Quebecers alongside Pierre (Carl Ouellet). In this guise he would win three tag team titles, but neither he nor either of his two partners would ever enter the Rumble match.
