WWE: 15 Notable Performers That Have Never Been In A Royal Rumble Match

15. Shane McMahon

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ4u40eyPLQ In the Attitude Era of the late nineties and early noughties, it wasn't a particularly rare to see one of three members of the McMahon family in the ring and/or heavily involved in segments and storylines €“ WWE owner Vince McMahon, his daughter Stephanie and his son Shane. The latter was actually a reasonably competent performer, and is best remembered for taking part in a number of ridiculous spots (such as falling from the top of the TitanTron) and taking serious bumps in the process. Such actions were questionable (particularly as he didn't need to wrestle to earn a living) given that they could've resulted in him getting badly injured, but saw him earn respect as an attempt to get over on his own merit rather than being seen as somebody who only had a job because of who his father was. Despite being involved with the company for eleven years, Shane never took part in the annual Rumble match (and never had a memorable Rumble spot as a result), even though his father entered and won the 1999 edition as part of his long feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
