WWE: 15 Reasons The Undertaker Streak Ended At WrestleMania 30

7. It Created The Shock WWE Wanted

None of us have ever seen a WWE ending like that. Sitting there in my seat it was the most surreal experience I have ever had as a wrestling fan. The live audience shared my feeling, their reaction telling the story of just how shocking the clean Lesnar win was. The faces said it all. How can this be? It's impossible, there must be something else? No. It was the real deal and the magnitude of the shock worked brilliantly. For as long as we watch wrestling we will never see something this unpredictable again. That's why it worked with Brock Lesnar. No one had given him a chance, everybody was convinced Taker was winning. When that didn't happen, it gave us a moment which is hard to put into words and impossible for WWE to replicate. Contrastingly, if WWE had tried this with John Cena or someone else it might have came off as contrived shock. With Lesnar it was just genuine shock. WWE and Taker had worked us all.
