WWE: 15 Reasons The Undertaker Streak Ended At WrestleMania 30

11. Age

There's a certain point when it just becomes ridiculous if a pro-wrestler pushes on despite advancing age. Case in example would be Ric Flair who continued to compete way past his prime. Aged 49 and showing his age, Undertaker must have decided he wanted to wrap things up at Mania 30. It isn't just that Undertaker will be 50 by the time WrestleMania 31 rolls around, it's the worn age on his body. Years of bad bumps and surgeries means his body is perhaps closer to what someone might expect around the age of 60. All the issues of muscle tears, cartilage wear and joint pains means he is living with a body way older than it should feel. Continuing the detrimental wrestling style he competes in past his fifiteith birthday may have been a bridge too far for Calaway. Losing the streak relieves him of the feeling of responsibility to keep putting his body on the line. Finally he is free to rest up.
