WWE: 15 Things That Would Greatly Improve WrestleMania

5. Just One Major Gimmick Match

Less is more in pro wrestling. At WrestleMania, for the sake of impact, only one gimmick match should be booked. WrestleMania 30 this year looks a real clustered mess due to the abundance of undercard gimmicks €” five of the eight matches are multi-person bouts. We have gimmicks such as the Vickie Invitational and the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. It seems a bit kitsch, it would have been far better to book just one properly intense gimmick match. A better formula for success would be to do something similar to WrestleMania 28, have one really big gimmick match which stands alone as something special. At Mania 28 it was Triple H vs Undertaker inside the Hell in a Cell, it was a brilliant contest, the best match of 2012. If WWE applied this 'less is more' formula more often, then it would help the dynamics of the Mania card significantly. Save all the big brutality for one match and it will mean more than spreading it out thinly over multiple gimmicks on the card. One gimmick match per a card should be the rule WWE sticks with.
