WWE: 15 Wrestling Marvels Who Could Probably Get A Good Match Out Of A Mop
4. CM Punk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWBg2UNdkdQ If you go around calling yourself The Best In The World, you'd better be prepared to back it up. Fortunately, for the most part, Punk does. His wrestling style mixes MMA style strikes and grapples with old school wrestling and Japanese influenced moves. He has competed in matches against The Rock, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and Chris Jericho, and has been awarded the rare 5 Star Match rating by Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer twice. Punk began his career in IWA, and during his time there he would hold the IWA Heavyweight Championship 5 times, beating the likes of A.J. Styles, Colt Cabana and even Eddie Guerrero. He would also compete in a 93 minute Two Out Of Three Falls match and numerous 60 minute time limit draws. He would later compete in ROH and the fledgling TNA against Samoa Joe and Raven, among others. He debuted for the WWE in 2006, where he would amass numerous accolades, including becoming the only two time Money In The Bank winner and the longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern era at 434 days. At present, an enormous question mark hangs over his career, and who knows? That might just be his legacy.
Stephen Maher has been a rock star, a bouncer, a banker and a busker on various streets in various countries. He's hung out with Robert Plant, he was at Nelson Mandela's birthday and he's swapped stories with prostitutes and crack addicts. He once performed at a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by accident. These days, he passes the time by writing about music, wrestling, games and other forms of nerdery. And he rarely drinks the blood of the innocent.
