WWE: 19 Former Wrestlers Who Had Salaries You Won't Believe

17. Lex Luger, $500,000 In WCW 1991, $350,000 In WWF 1994, $350,000 To $1.2 Million In WCW 1995-2001

When you consider his dismal wrestling ability, you have to say that Lex Luger did very well for himself. Trading off his muscular look, he secured a salary of half a million dollars during in 1991 with WCW. He later went to Vince McMahon's World Bodybuilding Federation and the WWF, earning $350,000 in 1994. His surprise return to WCW in 1995 was very profitable. He started out at $500,000 before rising to $750,000 a few years later. By the end of the decade he was raking in over a million dollars. It's an example of how WCW overspent on average talents.
