WWE 1998 PPVs From Worst To Best

10. Survivor Series

The Good: If you're looking for good wrestling, do not watch Survivor Series 1998. Featuring mostly short matches (The Rock versus The Big Boss Man lasted all but four seconds), this was not a wrestling fans' wrestling show. In terms of storyline development and entertainment, however, it ticked all of the right boxes. Survivor Series 1998 did not feature the traditional Survivor Series matches but was instead focused around a one-night tournament to crown a new WWF Champion. The best of the tournament matches was the semi-final match between Steve Austin and Mankind. The Bad: Did the world really need a rehash of the 1997 Survivor Series finish? Sure, it was 'fresh' back in 1998, but it was also unnecessary. Watching it now, given how many times WWE have done the finish, the importance of it is lost. The tag team title match between The New Age Outlaws, Headbangers and the team of Mark Henry & D-Lo Brown sucked so much that even JR had to acknowledge it on commentary. The Rest: Sable won the Women's Championship from Jacqueline in an actual match, not a bikini contest/evening gown stripper fight, which was as rare as an eclipse in those days.
