WWE 1998 PPVs From Worst To Best

9. Capital Carnage

The Good: The main event between Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Mankind and Kane was a lot of fun. WWE wishes they could put four stars of this level in a PPV top-liner these days. This match headlined a lot of house show events at the time and drew monster business. The UK fans went wild for it at Capital Carnage. Even better, from a wrestling standpoint, was The Rock's WWF Championship defence against X-Pac. These two pros had everyone in the building that X-Pac might pull it off at the end. The Bad: How many times did Tiger Ali Singh bore UK fans senseless? The company seemed to only wheel Singh out for the British pay-per-views. Was it some sort of rib on us? Anyways, his match (against Edge) was the worst of the night. There were more short, house show style matches in the form of Gangrel versus Al Snow and Goldust versus Val Vanis. The Rest: After the Marc Mero & Jacqueline versus Sable & Christian match Sable ripped Jacqueline's top off, exposing her naked knockers to the world. The WWF really didn't care about offending anyone back then.
