WWE 1999 PPVs From Worst To Best

11. Survivor Series

The Good: Chyna and Chris Jericho had a really good Intercontinental Championship match. Behind-the-scenes, however, the two were at odds with each other and Jericho had been reprimanded for being too rough with the Ninth Wonder of the World. The Hardy Boys looked really good in their Survivor Series elimination match. The Bad: WWE should have been ashamed of themselves for advertising Stone Cold Steve Austin for the main event up until the final minute when the company knew full well, days in advance, that Austin would not be performing on the show. Austin needed spinal fusion surgery and was replaced by The Big Show, who shockingly beat Triple H and The Rock in a poor match to win the WWF Championship. The New Age Outlaws versus Mankind and Al Snow was not very good, at all. Foley was so broken-down at this point that he couldn't really do a lot in the ring, besides comedy. The Rest: How could WWE have not added Test to the main event? He was the logical choice, given his feud with Triple H, but the gig went to The Big Show instead. Survivor Series 1999 was not a great show, by any means. That it wasn't the worst of 1999 shows just how bad a year it was for the WWF.
