7. St. Valentine's Day Massacre
The Good: A rare bright spark during the Russo era, St Valentine's Day Massacre had several in-ring highlights, not least of which was the crazy cage match main event between Austin and Vince McMahon, which saw Vince take an incredible bump off the side of the cage and through the announce table. This match also featured the WWF debut of The Big Show, who attacked Austin. Triple H and X-Pac versus Chyna and Kane, a battle of DX versus The Corporation, was shockingly good stuff. Even better was the Last Man Standing match between The Rock and Mankind, who stole the show for the second consecutive PPV. The Bad: You can skip matches like Bluedust (The Blue Meanie) versus Goldust and The Big Bossman versus Mideon without feeling too bad about it. Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett versus D-Low Brown and Mark Henry was surprisingly poor, given who was involved. Ken Shamrock and Val Venis were also noticeably off in their grudge/IC Title match. The Rest: Al Snow and Hardcore Holly ended up in the Mississippi River, a first in a professional wrestling match.
