10. "The Final Countdown" (Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan) - Europe
When the wrestling entrance, or just about any grand entrance for that matter, was first conceived, this was the song they had in mind. The song, written and recorded by Swedish band Europe was actually crafted from the very beginning to be used for grand entrances according to front man Joey Tempest. The song was made most popular in wrestling circles as the theme for independent sensation Bryan Danielson, who would later gain fame as Daniel Bryan. During his time in Ring of Honor, Bryan was able to use not only the dramatic introduction of the song but the entire first verse all the way to its six syllable chorus, which would usually be enthusiastically sung by the fans in attendance. Though the song's lyrics make very little sense, it doesn't matter as this is one of the greatest entrances in wrestling ever. 9. "American Badass" (The Undertaker) - Kid Rock
http://youtu.be/tCThu2yzstA Fans have mixed reactions when it comes to the American Badass/Big Evil period of The Undertaker's long, storied career. Some feel it was a stain on the career of The Deadman and wish they could forget about this phase, as he was less the mythological undead man and more something resembling a run-of-the-mill wrestler, almost average. Most fans however scoffed at such thoughts as this was undoubtedly The Undertaker's most successful period in terms of championship accomplishments, and Big Evil was the change of pace that The Undertaker needed to maintain relevance at the time. But with such widespread change in The Undertaker's packaging his trademark entrance themes of Chopin's "Funeral March" or variations thereof needed a change as well. Enter Kid Rock and his hit song "American Badass." The song was so successful in identifying the "new" Undertaker and what he was about that the name of the song quickly became a nickname for The Undertaker during this time and the most apropos way of describing The Phenom.
