WWE: 20 Changes That MUST Happen On The Road From WrestleMania 30

6. Kane To Remask...Properly

Kane's latest attempt to remask was farcical resulting in childish anger management classes and the inevitable unmasking a few months later. Presently Kane is an embarrassing jobber whose character has been dampened to such an extent that there is only one true way it can be salvaged, and that means bring out the mask of old. Kane's original masked character is one of a twisted monster. When he debuted in 1997 he ripped the door off of a Hell in a Cell and delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to his onscreen brother The Undertaker. He did not speak and more often than not he did not forewarn you that he was on his way to the ring, creating the fantastic situation where even during a match fans were on tenterhooks awaiting the explosion of fire, the red lights and a masked giant on his way to the ring where he would, to quote Jim Ross, "Bring hellfire and brimstone!" One thing is for certain, the Kane monster that debuted seventeen years ago is not the Kane 'Authority' jobber that presently resides in the WWE. If the WWE could change its current perception of Kane and allow him to return as the masked 'Big Red Machine' for one last time, fans both young and old would witness a WWE veteran, in the twilight of his career, bow out with the dignity and class that he has undoubtedly earned.
