7. Knowing The Value Of Gold
For too long the WWEs philosophy when it comes to creating its champions is to rather uncreatively throw championship belts at its wrestlers. This is not only incredibly lazy but has the effect of devaluing the championship belts and their respective champions. The days of making wrestlers 'climb the mountain' to achieve championship gold are long over, for in the modern WWE 'the mountain' more often than not moves to the wrestler. The most recent example of this can be seen on the latest edition of RAW where AJ Lee was beaten after a few minutes by a rookie diva, Paige. By simply passing the belt around, rivalries are stunted, champions lose their integrity and championship matches lose their appeal. If the WWE looks to change this lame way of engineering its champions, and have wrestlers work for the belt, then fans and wrestlers alike will have more respect and appreciation for the championship title and the champions themselves.
