13. Straight Edge Society (WWE)
The best faction in wrestling history with only one star, CM Punk. The Straight Edge Society was formed after a feud Punk had with the drug consuming Jeff Hardy. The groups foundation was based on being 'straight edge'. Committing yourself to a life of abstinence, being drug free and living an alcohol free lifestyle. Punk was absolutely brilliant as the leader. Requiring new members to shave their heads as a sign of loyalty and as a sign of a new life and a new beginning. Cutting some incredible promos at the time, Punk degraded everyone who didn't live the life style that he did, often garnering some real legitimate heat from the live crowds. The Straight Edge Society weren't comprised of any stars but it worked. Punk made it work. He transformed Luke Gallows (formally known as Festus - the worst gimmick ever) into his personal enforcer and he shocked the world when he shaved the head of female wrestler Selena as she was initiated into the group. The S.E.S. will probably be known as CM Punks coming out party but they had some great feuds with Rey Mysterio and The Big Show along the way. In the 10 months they were together, The S.E.S. made wrestling fun again.
