http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRGQugQpjz8 It's fair to say that Triple H is one of the most polarizing figures in WWE history. That statement was true for him when he was a full time in-ring talent and it's still true today in his executive role. Some fans really like him. Others really hate the guy. In May of 2001, Triple H suffered a torn quad in a match (a great match, by the way) and he was out of action for about eight months. Right before the Royal Rumble, he was advertised to make his return on Raw in Madison Square Garden. When Triple H's music hit, the crowd went crazy. When he did his trademark water spit, they went wild for that too. After Kurt Angle came out for a promo, Hunter quickly dispatched him and the show went off the air with Hunter celebrating his big return. It was a loud pop that was as big as any he would receive in his career. He spoke on his recent DVD that it was a huge moment in his career and he's right.
