WWE 2000 PPVs From Worst To Best

13. Survivor Series

The Good: What a disappointment this show was at the time. The best match of the night was The Rock versus Rikishi, which succeeded thanks to The Great One's efforts to make the 'Kish look good. Even then, it wasn't that good, and probably one of The Rock's weakest PPV matches of the year. The Bad: The show was built around a Steve Austin versus Triple H grudge match that didn't deliver. The action was sloppy (Austin had just come back from a year on the shelf) and the finish insulting: The Texas Rattlesnake dropped The Game, who was sitting in a car, from about thirty feet in the air, ostensibly murdering him. Triple H came out on Raw the next week, sporting a solitary bandage on his head. Chris Jericho versus Kane (a feud based on Y2J spilling coffee on the Big Red Machine) was deathly dull and a complete waste of Jericho. Kurt Angle and The Undertaker's WWE Championship match had a clever finish but Angle wasn't yet ready to carry the action and The Undertaker still wasn't 100% recovered from his various injuries. Their match was disappointing. The Rest: Lots and lots of filler. Feel free to fast-forward the traditional Survivor Series matches and William Regal versus Hardcore Holly. You're not missing anything!
