WWE 2003 PPVs From Worst To Best
12. No Way Out
The Good: Leave it to the superworkers of Smackdown to provide an excellent match and bail out your crappy PPV. Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar beat Team Angle in an awesome three-on-two handicap match, which was easily the best thing on the show. There wasn't a lot else to celebrate on this one, except Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho's spirited opener.
The Bad: WWE's fascination with the Montreal Screwjob continue, as they redid the same tired finish in the Rock versus Hogan main event (which was totally inferior to their WrestleMania X-8 spectacle). Scott Steiner and Triple H once again stunk out the joint, although their match here managed to avoid negative star ratings. Which is something, I guess.
Jim Ross' practically orgasmic reaction to the return of Steve Austin went way beyond self-parody. Undertaker versus Big Show was slow and nothing special.
The Rest: Test was originally supposed to face off against Chris Jericho in the opener but, when he and girlfriend Stacy Kiebler missed a TV taping due to a snowstorm (after being advised to make alternate travel plans in advance), he was booted off the card and replaced by a Jeff Hardy whose interest in wrestling was rapidly deteriorating.
