WWE 2003 PPVs From Worst To Best

11. Bad Blood

The Good: The top two matches delivered, although neither was a classic or anything. Ric Flair versus Shawn Michaels was an intergenerational dream match five years before Flair's 'retirement' match at WrestleMania XXIV. The work here was better and crisper but (obviously) lacked the emotion or drama of Flair's WWE swan song.

Kevin Nash versus Triple H gets a bad rep but, hey, it's not like they're steroi...hold on a second, that's the other guys' line. It doesn't have the big bumps that previous cell matches did (WWE were trying to condition fans not to expect it) but it had plenty of effort and Mick Foley stealing the show as the in-the-line-of-fire referee.

The Bad: The Redneck Triathlon. Ugh. Just saying that makes me feel dirty. Steve Austin and co-GM Eric Bischoff squared off in three lame 'events' that were, essentially, just excuses for WWE to humiliate the Bisch for beating them in the ratings during the Monday Night Wars. Bischoff took a bronco buster from a thong-clad Mae Young (cannot unsee) and was finally thrown into a hog pen full of pig s***. Lovely.

Scott Steiner versus Test, Christian versus Booker T for the IC Title and RVD/Kane versus La Resistance were nothing. Jericho versus Goldberg was disappointing.

The Rest: Watching Scott Steiner trip and fall off the ring apron is always never not funny (please don't tell him that though - I don't want him to beat me up).
