10. No Way Out
The Good: Two standout matches elevate this one above some of the other B-level PPVs from 2005. The first outstanding match was Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero's WWE Tag Team Championship victory over the Bashams. Although nothing particularly fancy, this was still some high-calibre tag team wrestling. Eddie and Rey's win got the pop of the night, too. The second great match was the No.1 contender's match between Kurt Angle and John Cena. Angle and Cena usually delivered the goods when in the ring together, but this was probably their best singles match ever. This one came so close to being a genuine classic (before the ref bump). The Bad: Undertaker had one of his most useless PPV outings ever against the worthless Luther Reigns. What the hell did WWE management see in the bland, awkward Reigns, anyway? Oh yeah, I forgot he had a massive physique. Booker T was similarly handcuffed with John Heidenreich, who was genuinely one of the worst WWE wrestlers ever. Poor Booker. The Cruiserweights had their typical gauntlet match where the work was fine but the crowd was uninterested and JBL and Big Show had a heavily-hyped barbed wire cage match...where the barded wire barely came into play. Oh well. The Rest: Some utterly pointless diva stuff (bikini contest, talent show etc.) was littered throughout the show. Remember Joy Giovanni and Rochelle Loewen? Nope, didn't think so.
