There's been plenty of excellently brutal zingers tossed around the WWE this year. The New Day's weekly promos have been filled with them, and Enzo Amore has never shied away from giving his opponent a tongue lashing every time he and Cass step in the ring. But the one insult that stands above the rest is Chris Jericho's "Stupid Idiot!"
Simple, yet ridiculously hilarious, "Stupid Idiot" got over in no time and is an example of a small thing catching fire. With a shortage of quality catchphrases currently in the WWE, Jericho proved that he's on another level when it comes to understanding and engaging with the audience. Even now with The List of Jericho dominating his act, not a Raw goes by without Y2J labeling someone a "Stupid Idiot" or a loud chant breaking out. For the longevity and originality, Jericho should win the Slammy for Insult of the Year. Only a stupid idiot would think otherwise.
