WrestleMania 26 - Undertaker vs HBK Put On A Classic Part II

On paper, before it all started, it didn't seem possible that Taker/HBK II could surpass their previous encounter. But once again, the care taken to tell a story leading up to the big event, coupled with the performances of all those involved, contributed to one heck of a re-match.

"I know I can beat you," vowed Michaels, as they began their cat-and-mouse game over the course of several months. Taker had no interest in a re-match, until Michaels finally got his attention by interfering at Elimination Chamber and costing The Undertaker his title. He granted him the re-match, but only if he put his career on the line against the streak.

Call me naïve, but I spent the entire match going back in forth in my mind as to whether this was really it for Shawn Michaels' career. Deep in my heart, I knew he had to lose, because of how special and protected the streak had become. But I refused to believe it, until that last ferociously-delivered Tombstone Piledriver. It was the perfect way to end a career that I believe will remain closed.
