WWE: 3 Recent Examples That May Prove Me Wrong About Triple H

3. Cuts His Best Promo In Years

Triple H

I have never been a fan of Trips on the mike. Although he does show intensity with his delivery everything he says (to me anyway) comes off as total bullflop. It is completely unbelievable to say the very least in its authenticity and shows that Hunter is in no way any threat in Hollywood as his acting is just shocking. Not to mention he has used the same sentence structure (vastly different to saying a catchphrase) his WHOLE career. Seriously, watch a promo from 2000 then watch one from 2012. They are exactly the same in every way, from delivery to context. But then, I sat down and watched the aforementioned October 14th edition of RAW and here he was, cutting a truly great promo that is quite possibly the best in his entire career. Everything he said came out with not only a different level of confidence and intensity I have rarely seen from him in the past but the delivery was spot on to boot. He honestly looked like he was speaking from the heart and everything he said had a sense of truth to it that made even me, the so called biggest Triple H "hater" out there, sit up and take notice. Now if he had done this more often throughout his career instead of saying the same thing (forget the catchphrase, the whole spiel) over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, I might have more respect. See what I did there? It is quite annoying to read all of that even though I have re-iterated the point many times. But I forced it down your throat anyway. Doesn't that piss you off? And THAT is why I could never stand Trips on the mike. But on October 14th, he shined for the first time since forever and even made a cynic like me think, "has Triple H finally learnt from his past mistakes?" And as the marathon progressed my thoughts on the matter solidified as I laid witness to something that has been rather lacking the past decade.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
