WWE: 30 Things That Must Happen After WrestleMania 30
29. Brock Lesnar Must Get His Heat Back
One of the great certainties in life is Undertaker winning at WrestleMania, especially when his opponent is a part timer like Brock Lesnar. It will mark yet another major loss for the former UFC Champion, who at this point has lost so much of his invincible aura as a human wrecking machine. WWE has really screwed Lesnar's character up when you think about it. They got hold of him in 2012 as a mainstream warrior who did over a million PPV buys for UFC, they then quickly watered him down into a jobber for Cena, Hunter and now Taker. The rest of 2014 should focus on rehabilitating The Beast. He needs to get his heat back right away, he should be booked in a wild angle on the Raw immediately following Mania. Have him destroy Undertaker on Raw in a way so brutal it pushes the limitations of PG broadcasting. He really needs to be booked strongly for the rest of this year, he needs a succession of wins and memorable hard hitting angles as soon as possible. Only then will Brock Lesnar get the level of heat back he possessed two years ago.
28. WWE Must Resolve The CM Punk Situation
The CM Punk return question refuses to go away, despite Phil Brooks describing himself as a "totally different person." WWE's stance is similarly standoffish and avoiding of the subject. They are simply ignoring any regard for Punk, seemingly set to run his contract down by paying him to stay at home in silence. What they should do after WrestleMania is make one last ditch attempt to get Punk back to work. Yes there's been a whole load of controversy and implications, but it still doesn't change the fact that WWE would be much better off with the legitimate best in the world wrestler on their roster as opposed to off their roster. They should try to retain him with a new contract and addressing of any issues. With Brooks also commenting on the Talking Dead TV show that he's "all about forgiveness", perhaps WWE may indeed consider taking him back once the WrestleMania festivities are out of the way.
