WWE's 10 Biggest Money Performers In 2018

8. John Cena

'The Champ' is so rarely here any more that it's astonishing his output's been as weak as it has over the past few years, but John Cena remains categorically the only performer with almost as much pull as the WWE machine itself.

That the gimmick's been swallowed up so profoundly by it in recent years for the good of the running-on-empty Roman Reigns cause is perhaps the most damning indictment on the company's broken mechanisms, but Cena's mass market appeal just about remains in tact.

It's likely he'll still perform at every major pay-per-view such is his value, and his shameless pandering merchandise hasn't show signs of slowing based on his ranges dwarfing everything else on offer at live events. Though scuffed and scraped and in need of restoration, he remains the company's golden goose - the one performer in the vein of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and The Rock that Vince McMahon would still look for should he need his vision of a 'WWE Superstar' in a pinch.
