WWE: 4 Reasons Why Ryback Is Nothing Like Goldberg

3. Is Willing To Be Managed

Ryback I don't care what anyone else's opinion on the subject is (including Vince McMahon apparently), managers and valets are essential in this business and have proved quite effective in showcasing the real talent of a wrestler. Most of the greats all had a manager at one time or another. Chris Jericho, RVD, Macho Man Randy Savage, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Shawn Micheals and even the immortal Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin have all benefited from having a manager or valet at one point in their careers. And this is what Goldberg actually could have benefited from. Someone to help project his strengths while hiding his weaknesses. Just like Paul Heyman has done with Ryback. But no, the all powerful Goldberg was way too big a superstar to have someone help him out in this department. Since Ryback has become a Paul Heyman guy he has gone from strength to strength. And the fact that people still chant Goldberg while the Walrus is at ringside not only makes absolutely no sense but kind of proves the level of intelligence of some of these smarks. How can you compare Ryback with someone who has never, nor ever considered having someone in his corner? I mean, come on now.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
