2. He's Straight Edge
CM Punk is straight edge. He doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs and that means he is better than you or me or any of the other wrestlers in the locker room. Sure, this is a gimmick. But it is also true. Pro wrestlers have a reputation for being roided out, muscle bound guys. And for a long time, the only way to be a top guy was to be six foot five, 300 pounds and have 24 inch pythons. If you did not meet those standards, you were relegated to mid-card status at best. Over the last twenty five years, there have been certain performers like Shawn Michaels who have been able to break that mold. CM Punk is six foot 2 and weights 218 pounds. He isn't a giant or a genetic freak. He is who he is and that makes him better than you.
