WWE: 4 Reasons Why John Cena Should Turn Heel

2. A Character Refresh

For the past ten years, John Cena has been playing up the nice-guy-who-cares gimmick. Ever since his debut, Cena has always been a face. While the Thuganomics gimmick was refreshing and I wouldn't mind seeing it again, but John Cena has been stale for ten long years. Wearing jean-shorts and a colored shirt, John Cena runs into the ring every single night, saying catchphrases for the kids to dig, and doing the same routine over and over again, expecting different results, but the truth is that he has been the same old Cena, and the crowd is hating it. Even the Rock called Cena out on it, and this has been the plan always. Cena was always a face, and every superstar he's feuded with has called him out on it. WWE Creative needs to realize that in this quick and fast world, the fans are riling up the heels, and not the faces. Faces like John Cena are unbelievable, and John Cena smiling after losing big matches is unrealistic, and the crowd is tired of John Cena. What's the best solution to get John Cena out of this problem? Turn him heel. A heel turn would be beneficial to both John Cena and the crowds, and it would make up for interesting story-lines, which is my next point.
