3. Crowd Reactions
As I mentioned in the introductory paragraph, Cena gets polarizing reactions in some places, while he gets booed in other places. In his own hometown, John Cena receives mixed reactions, which just isn't fit for his character. John Cena is currently the biggest face of the company, and represents the company everywhere: on TV shows, in movies, etc, yet if Cena gets negative reactions, then what's the use of making him the face of the company? John Cena has everything the WWE needs to turn him heel. The fans turning their backs on him, him losing constantly, and him not getting opportunities are just some reasons he can use to get heat, and become a heel. The crowd is disinterested with Cena's character (I'll cover that later) and desperately wants an heel turn from 'the Champ'. Wouldn't it be great to give the fans what they want? Also, John Cena has been having stale performances and the crowd isn't helping him one bit. The "Cena Sucks" shirt was even on sale at WWEShop.com, and fans have been wearing that shirt for a long time, and Cena has acknowledged that. In desperate times like these, where the crowd demands, the WWE should give back to their fans and really turn Cena to the dark side.
