WWE: 5 Awesome Attitude Era Superstars and 5 That Sucked

2. Dan Severn

Severn jumped on the scene as NWA Champion during Jarrett and Cornette's NWA invasion angle. Which, as previously mentioned, was horrible. No matter how many times they tried to give Severn something to work with, it just wouldn't click. Even his feud with Ken Shamrock with whom he had a legit history with didn't garner much interest. The Brawl for All tournament should've been his crowning moment, not Bart Gunn's, but after defeating The Godfather in the first round he withdrew because he felt he had nothing left to prove. Yeah, to an MMA audience. Apparently, nobody had told him that being the NWA Champion didn€™t mean s**t after September 13, 1993.
