Triple H and his WWE creative team didn't have a clear winner in mind when the brackets for this year's King Of The Ring tournament were announced, at least according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.

Only one match has taken place in the opening round at time of writing. Oba Femi defeated Solo Sikoa, Penta and Carmelo Hayes in the first Fatal-4-Way on this past Monday's edition of Raw. He'll meet the winner of the next bout, which pits Trick Williams vs. Bron Breakker vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Damian Priest.

WWE will shift to a singles format for the semi finals and final stage itself. That final takes place at Night Of Champions over in Saudi Arabia on 27 June, and the KOTR winner then rolls on to SummerSlam for a crack at either the WWE or World Heavyweight Titles.

It's a similar story with the Queen Of The Ring tourney, but it's unclear whether or not Trips and pals have a firm winner in mind for the women's division. They don't appear to on the men's side of things, at least not yet. On that note, WrestleVotes/Fightful reports that there are "at least 3 names that were in consideration" to take home the crown.

Femi would naturally have to be considered a favourite, but there are other heavy hitters involved here. Breakker, Williams, Seth Rollins, LA Knight and Finn Bálor (who recently jumped to SmackDown) would all be worthy/acceptable winners in the eyes of the fanbase.

It'd be real interesting to find out who the 3 names WWE has in mind are.
