When he saw TAKA and Funaki on the tron, The Game was ecstatic to face one of them, until he saw the APA following them. TAKA came down for his match with Funaki and APA by his side. TAKA came out and surprised the world by taking it to Triple H. TAKA was hitting Triple H with everything he had. TAKA had gotten two or three near falls on Hunter in the early moments of the match. Eventually, Triple H got thrown to the outside where he was met with a Clothes from Hell from Bradshaw. Hunter got thrown back into the ring and was hit with a Missile Dropkick from Funaki, and then a Moonsault from TAKA. TAKA covered Triple H had was a split second away from becoming WWF champion. The match continued and Shane and Vince McMahon came out and distracted the APA, this led to Triple H taking control and hitting the Pedigree on TAKA for the win. TAKA came out and surprised everyone and nearly became the WWF champion, but it just wasnt enough as Triple H walked out with his title still intact.
