WWE: 5 Most Underrated/Misused Current Superstars

3. Kofi Kingston

kofi kingston vs kevin nash Some of you may disagree with my inclusion of Kofi Kingston since he is a four time Intercontinental Champion, three time US Champion, and two time Tag Team Champion. With ten championships combined, he's had a pretty impressive career. But if you look at some of those championship runs, many were transitional and uninspired. Kofi has kept the same stale character since his inception in the WWE. He either has chosen not to or has not been allowed to let his character grow. As a result, he has been stuck in the mid-card for years. He's this generation's al- purpose punching bag. One week he's on track to winning a title, the next he's getting pounded in a squash match. Since coming back from elbow surgery Kofi has changed his attire a bit and has put on some good matches. And that's the saddest thing about his career. He's highly athletic and entertaining. We all remember his Royal Rumble/Battle Royal highlights and yet that's all he is really memorable for. Highlights. Montages. Nothing more. Here's hoping WWE figures out a way to use his clean high-flying style to project Kofi into super-stardom.
