2. Sami Zayn
Olé! Also known as El Generico, Sami Zayn is a Canadian wrestler who is set for big things. Working under a mask for close to a decade, Zayn made his televised debut in May and since then he has provided fans with some of the best matches in NXT to date. He's had his fair share of experience before encountering NXT, having worked in Japan for a few years, as well as being involved in Ring of Honour, Chikara and Pro Wrestling Guerilla. Of course, during that time El Generico has received quite a number of supporters. If there's any indication of this man's clear in-ring abilities, then you need to look no further than his two-out-of-three falls match with Antonio Cesaro, which was on NXT earlier this year. Cesaro's undeniably great most of the time, but both wrestlers put on an astounding performance that displayed some high-risk manoeuvres and brutal strength. It's easily a contender for match of the year. Thankfully though, Zayn isn't a one trick pony. He has a vast array of moves to use in the ring, and after Cesaro's match he followed up with yet another entertaining performance against Jack Swagger. After this brief feud with the Real Americans, Zayn set his sights on Bo Dallas' NXT Championship, and that has made for an entertaining feud so far. Sami Zayn is already set for the main roster, and he evidently has a clear charm. Look at any of the promos featuring Renee Young, for example. It's honestly a good thing that Zayn has dropped the mask, and if he is to debut onto the main roster at any point, it would be wise for him to keep his NXT appearance. He has won over the fans in NXT, and Raw and Smackdown could benefit from having this high-flying and hugely talented individual, and perhaps his chant could even end up matching Daniel Bryan's.
