WWE: 5 Obscure Ways To Improve The Product

1. Money In The Bank Ladder Match For The Tag Titles

Wwe Money In The Bank There you have it, the answer to the other MITB ladder match each year if the IC and World titles are unified. The WWE have done a good job the past two years on how the two matches on the MITB PPV are booked, from both a storyline and execution perspective. I would guess that this won't last forever, but having the second match for the Tag belts will mean the two are completely different every year. I guarantee that instantly you thought of the original few TLC matches involving the Dudleyz, Hardyz and Edge and Christian, and by golly, that's what we would get. The top 3 or 4 tag teams each year would get a chance to have a kick ass, ridiculous match for a guaranteed title shot within the space of a year. This would also give the tag division a much needed kick up the jacksie and establish the tag division as a serious area within the minds of the fans. Giving the tag performers such a match could also make several teams in a 20 minute period. The fact that the aforementioned tag teams of the Attitude Era received standing ovations on several occasions speaks volumes as to how valuable such matches can be, even if they are concussion inducing. Also, the idea of seeing something akin to the old TLC matches would sell a PPV instantly to many. I like the current MITB ladder matches, of course I do, but don't we all think they're becoming a bit stale? Something that Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro proved a few months back was that a team within such a match can truly innovate and think outside the box. It gives the performers more options to really wow the crowd. The match, we can all agree, would be stellar! The main reason for this is to change the dynamic of MITB cash-ins, which has become a serious part of WWE TV over the past several years. It's still exciting when the briefcase is handed over to the ref, but I'm beginning to suspect we've seen it all now. If two guys have to cash in on another two guys, the possibilities double at least, and the cash in would appear fresh. Having a team walking about with a briefcase would establish that team instantly, and that can only be a good thing for the division as a whole. The likelihood of a top team holding the cases but not the belts for a prolonged period doesn't seem likely but, as I said previously, the right time to cash in could be tricky, making for a few near misses throughout the year. Once again, if a number of stables come to fruition, having more prizes around would add more intrigue to the entire product, but without having to add any confusing belts. Do you agree that these 5 suggestions would improve the WWE landscape, or do you have any other suggestions to make our weekly wrestling fix that bit more interesting?
