Lets face it: Brodus Clay has been a huge disappointment since he re-debuted. The Funkasaurus went nowhere, and repackaging him as part of a tag team with Tensai did little more than prolong the gimmick. Now he proclaims himself a main eventer while feuding with NXT champ Adrian Neville. Brad Maddox, meanwhile, is almost even more useless. Hes the GM of Raw, but you wouldnt know that given that nearly every major decision and matchup is being made by Triple H and Stephanie. Even Kane seems to be higher on the food chain than Maddox. Poor Brad apparently was in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX and wasnt even noted until he got tossed. Pretty unceremonious for the guy whos supposed to be in charge. This isnt a hard one to put together. Maddox feels he has no sway as GM and decides that he needs to assert himself somehow, so he recruits Clay to serve as his muscle. They probably wont be the most successful team out there, but if you have Maddox playing the Evil GM, changing rules mid-match, hiring other superstars to beat down opponents, you could have a hated tag team. At worst, it gives both of them something better to do and allows them to play roles closer to what they should be doing.
