WWE: 5 Reasons A Kofi Kingston Heel Turn Would Be A Good Thing

1. World Heavyweight Champion

jk The World Heavyweight Championship is the modern era's version of the Intercontinental Championship back in the day and would be the ultimate proving ground for any new main event talent. Let's be honest in his current spot Kofi Kingston would be lucky to have a decent run as United States champion. His chances of defeating any of WWE's top champions in a title match are about as high as the chances of us ever seeing a 5 star match involving The Great Khali. However, have him switch roles to that of a heel and his chances sky rocket infinitely. We're going to hazard a guess that Jack Swagger is not winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 29 from Alberto Del Rio. So who will the champion feud with after the whole Real American angle fizzles out? How about Kofi Kingston? Not only is he capable of much more exciting matches than Del Rio/Swagger he also has a much bigger upside in the role of champ that WWE's resident racist. Don't forget how many 2 minute squash matches Kingston's been involved in with Del Rio. Have him seek revenge against the guy Bret Hart described as "The Mexican Hitman" and take the title. WWE needs some fresh faces in the main event. As it stands we'll never see Kingston at the top of the card. Surely you all agree that a heel turn is in his best interest and ours? Have your say below.
