2. WCW/NWO
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7E2ZM_oJkE4 With their acquisition of WCW rights in 2001 the WWE were quick to consider their next moves in regards to the distribution and handling of said product. A large contingent of WCW fans crossed over to WWE in name only, looking to get a hold of some quality footage from the archives which had previously been unreleased. The WWE were slow in making this material available and this led to calls of the company trying to erase the better parts of WCW in favour of the worst parts of WWE. Recently the WWE has been directing a lot of their attention on releasing DVD and Blu Ray of WCW and NWO material. Add to that the Big Show is still employed by the WWE and Kevin Nash is on a legends contract and you could be looking at another very interesting "old school" event in the works for Wrestlemania 30. Imagine, if you will, that Hogan is brought back to lead a six man tag match (or even an eight or ten man) comprising of former members of the NWO and WCW. WWE will want to make a nod to WCW and ECW fans, either because they'll want to acknowledge the promotions varied histories or just because they'll want to remind fans that they own the rights to these promotions and can do with them as they please. At the single most important event for the WWE in 2014 it would be a master-stroke if they could attract even more of those viewers 'on the fence' by including a match which targets the kind of wrestling fan who bought WWE 2K14 early just because The Ultimate Warrior was a pre order bonus. The kind of fan who only watches three events a year (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania and Summerslam) and who couldn't care whether John Cena or Brock Lesnar headline - because, let's be honest, neither of them are as good as Stone Cold Steve Austin anyway!
