WWE: 5 Reasons Why A John Cena Heel-Turn Won't Solve Anything

1. What If Fans Still Cheered Him?

My biggest fear of John Cena turning heel is this; what if once fans get their wish and see Cena turn heel, they decide they like this fresh new villain and decide to start cheering him? We are living in the reality era of smart fans with more access to social media than ever before. An era where fans understand the inner workings of professional wrestling more than any other generation in history. As such, fans have started to think for themselves more and choose who they support based on their own preferences, regardless of who WWE present as the good guys. John Cena gets booed by half the audience. Batista was booed mercilessly by the fans at the Royal Rumble despite being a returning hero. Dolph Ziggler, was cheered back when he was a heel because fans appreciated his excellent in-ring skills and his natural charisma. AJ Lee gets louder cheers than any other Diva, despite being a heel, because she's the only woman on the roster with a personality. In this day and age, it has become common to cheer the bad guys and boo the good guys. So then what if John Cena turns heel? Sure all those impressionable children in the crowd will boo him. Their hero betrayed them. He deserves to get booed. But what if the adult fans decide to cheer him. What if Cena becomes the dreaded "cool heel". Well then I guess that would lead to half the fans chanting "LETS GO CENA!" while the other half chant "CENA SUCKS!" And then really, at the end of the day, just what exactly would a John Cena heel-turn change? Have any thoughts on the long awaited John Cena heel-turn? Sound off below!

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
