5. WWE Is Not A Wrestling Company Anymore
Like it or not, WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment with an emphasis on Entertainment. Ironically, despite the in-ring product the company has been instructed to rarely, if ever, refer to the talent as "wrestlers" or the matches as "wrestling". And even though the "Grandest Stage Of Them All" is still titled "Wrestlemania", Vince McMahon has steered WWE far away from the grappling days of yesteryore. And with these changes have brought warped forms of all the wrestling standbys: promos are stiff and memorized, TV shows are written by "creative" and not bookers, and many angles have twists and turns and fade in and out rather have true difinite endings. How many times have Cena and Orton fought over the years? They never truly settle anything. Any other indy show or territory program using old wrestling logic would dictate a Daniel Bryan face win after beating the odds and giving the heels their comeuppence...but this is WWE. It just doesn't always work that way anymore. That alone should make members of the "Yes Movement" very, very nervous.
