WWE: 5 Reasons Why Daniel Bryan Will NOT Win Sunday
2. Just Too Predictable
Many wrestling pundits, commentators, bloggers, and fans are insistent that Wrestlemania XXX will be the night Daniel Bryan holds the title high after months of false starts, embarrassing beat-downs, and attempted banishment to the midcard. Bryan defeating the bully Triple H and winning the Triple Threat is the only thing that makes sense. Which is precisely why it might be a terrible move. Adding the stipulation that whoever wins between D Bry and Triple H gets into the title match might seem to make things unpredictable but in reality it just makes the underdog story that much more predictable. Undertaker's streak is safe. Lesnar has no credibility to gain or legacy to cement. He's a part time guy with no upside to ending it. The ending is locked but the journey will be the best part. With Bryan, the journey will have been good but the ending is what fans already have locked in their head complete with streamers, confetti, Brie Bella, and a championship fanny pack. The fans have already written that story. Unfortunately, you know what happens when you assume. Putting Vince McMahon's original vision, HHH's politics, and everything else aside...this underdog story might just be too damn predictable to have the trigger pulled. Something strange is afoot for Daniel Bryan's "Wrestlemania Moment".
