WWE: 5 Reasons Why Daniel Bryan Will NOT Win Sunday

1. Controversy Creates Cash

Eric Biscoff might be right: controversey creates cash. Heel heat will always bring in more money than cheering the face. The ending of Wrestlemania XXX can go two ways. Daniel Bryan victorious in a pull-out poster moment...or with a ring full of garbage in a throng of defeaning boos. What will create the most eyes on RAW? The PPV format is dying. With the WWE Network showing PPVs basically for free with purchase of the network, the real focus is going to be the TV product, especially with the TV rights being up for grabs soon. Stories already rarely end at major events...they just continue on until the next one, and the next one. With this new TV first/"PPV" second approach the idea of Daniel Bryan getting redeption at Wrestlemania might not be the way to go. Although it's a fine line between keeping viewers angry and watching instead of angry and tuning off, it's more than likely that WWE keeps Bryan from the promised land one more time making Wrestlemania XXX known forever as the Riot Wrestlemania. Besides, making the fans happy in one moment means boredom the next. Would anyone really care about what Bryan does next with his title? Making fans continue to wait, especially when they've already written the ending, would be the gift that keeps giving in terms of publicity, social media hastags, and ultimately, a huge ratings number on Raw. And that's exactly what the WWE wants.
