WWE: 5 Reasons Why Wrestling Will Never Be Great Again

2. Zero Competition

Befunky Monday Night War Wrestling thrived when there was competition. Back from when there were territories, and up through the Monday Night Wars. Competition had always fed the beast. Now, NOTHING. TNA is a laughing stock, ROH is non existent and the indy's, well, are the indy's. Vince McMahon has wrestling by the balls and he knows it. Unfortunately that means he can afford to be lazy. No one is pushing him, he's not getting any better. He surrounds himself with yes men who are only there to feed his own self indulgence. As Vince ages, he'll continue to loosen his grip on the empire he created. He'll ride off into the sunset with nothing but a smile on his face. He won and he knows it. He crushed everyone in his path on his way to the the top. It was fun to watch then, but now, now it just sucks. Wrestling has no democracy, it has a dictator. It has Vince McMahon. For us as fans, that means bad news.
