4. The Promos
One thing Bray Wyatt has a real grasp on is how to build a great promo and storyline around a "creepy" theme, using location and his own cryptic words it has been reported that Bray writes his own promos, incidentally. Bray Wyatt's musings (and actions) and the impact of them can be most likened to Undertaker during the Attitude Era, and particularly in his role as the Dark Lord of The Ministry of Darkness. Not just because Bray has weirdo disciples with him, but because during this time, Undertaker would kidnap athletes (most notably Phineas Godwinn who became Mideon, and Mabel who became Viscera), just like Wyatt has done in the past with Kane, and more specifically Daniel Bryan/Wyatt. Wyatt has been running over superstars from his debut, and he's been doing it aided (and inspired) by foreboding promos set in a backwater swamp (as Taker has done before with the infamous graveyard and funeral parlour promos). The early segments when Bray was setting up his battles with Kane had a similar impact on the audience as Undertaker's work with Jake The Snake Roberts all those years ago; two near-iconic and weird-as-hell characters in a battle of wits. We all know that for the latter those matches went down in history and helped to cement powerful careers, and for the former, it pretty much launched Bray's career and set him up as a future main event player. It's arguable that since Taker, the WWE hasn't seen the "eerie" promo done quite so perfectly as it has been coming from Wyatt, though plenty have tried Mordecai and Waylon Mercy spring to mind. Finally, we have a proper master, and not a cheesy Deadman-imitator, or religious-nut pretender. That is why Bray Wyatt will have a similar impact to The Undertaker in his future, because he is a master of scaring people with a microphone in his hand.
