WWE: 5 Tag Teams That Can Fill The Void

3. Christian & Damien Sandow

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51MtQbOhCSQ In Christian and Damien Sandow, you have a pair of characters who have been treading water for several months. Christian was off TV for an extended period and has been brought back to do exactly what he's been doing for years, which is being fodder for Champions and superstars that the WWE really wants to get over. Damien Sandow is a guy that was doing great work before winning the Money In The Bank. He was a guy whose ability to cut fantastic promos and wrestle had me thinking he was destined for great things, and is now wallowing in a pit of perpetual losing and despair. Both of these men deserve better. I would propose that these guys become a tag team. It's something that they can sink their teeth into as performers and pull themselves out of the doldrums they currently find themselves in. It's not an obvious pairing, but that is why it works if you ask me. You have guy who is diabolical, intelligent and downright villainous in Damien Sandow, enlisting the help of a sniveling weasel whose villainy is equal to his own. They join forces to become a more diabolical duo and wreak havoc on the Tag Team Division. It's something out of a damn comic book, and it would be a lot of fun to watch these two work together. If you aren't sold already, remember that Christian is an accomplished tag team wrestler and that throwing him back into the division with a new partner might be a way to breathe life back into his character. Damien Sandow has also seen his most success as part of a tag team, and maybe another dalliance with tag team wrestling is just what his career needs right now. All that I know is that it would be nice to see one of the WWE's top 5 in-ring workers and one of their top 5 talkers become more active participants in the WWE's narrative.
