WWE: 5 Ways To Eliminate John Cena's "50/50" Crowd Response

1. John Cena Vs Triple H

The return of Evolution to WWE television seems solely to serve the purpose of eventually breaking up the Shield and putting them all-of-the-way over in the process. However, once done with that goal, what else could Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista do? What about helping John Cena solidify himself as a full-fledged babyface in the eyes of the WWE Universe? Once done with The Shield, Evolution come out on Raw and say that when Evolution was its strongest, there were FOUR of them. This leads to them bringing out their OLD fourth member, Ric Flair. Flair gets into the ring and says that he has no desire to be the fourth member of Evolution, because his time is done. However, he does say that there's one man in WWE who has landed the hottest of ladies, and rides around in the biggest of limousines, has the biggest of houses, and has made the most money. He then offers the fourth spot in Evolution to that man, John Cena. Cena of course comes out, and is completely shocked. Evolution aren't as shocked, but the earnest look in Flair's eyes when he tells Cena that he deserves the role and should take it for the good of "the business" gives Cena pause. Cena of course brings up that Evolution are bad guys who do terrible things, but then Triple H explains to Cena that at some point, every man has to grow up, and ultimately do not what's good for the people, but what's "best for business." Triple H gives Cena a week to decide, and says that they'll all be back in the ring at the same time next week awaiting his decision. The next week, Evolution comes out, and when it's time for Cena's decision, his music plays, and he walks out in a suit, enters the ring, and cuts a teary-eyed promo to the fans and to Ric Flair and Triple H, explaining that he sees their point, and that while it might anger his fans, he's joining Evolution. He then shakes Flair's hand, shakes Hunters hand, shakes Orton's hand and shakes Batista's hand, too. That episode of Raw ends with the NEW Evolution, and the people in shock as it appears that John Cena has turned heel. Cena's run in Evolution doesn't last for more than two months though, as for a month he's perpetually told by Ric Flair (who would manage him) to not to the moves that the crowd likes. As well, he's forced to work alongside Orton and Batista as bullies, and uncomfortably engaging in beatdowns. However, its when he's forced to wrestle Daniel Bryan (and if he wins, the number one contendership for say, Bryan's WWE Championship - that he is theoretically holding) becomes the property of Triple H that Cena finally stops, and after beating Bryan via say, Evolution interference, turns around a cleans house on them. In order for Cena to become the babyface he ultimately deserves to be, the ship is so far gone that taking one step back may actually put him two steps ahead insofar as his future. The Triple H versus Cena storyline that would evolve from that turn would certainly be fun and absolutely do box-office numbers.
