4. Los Matadores

The former Primo and Epico appeared on our screens on September 30th on Raw with El Torito, their mascot who is dressed up as a bull in a Giant Gonzalez inspired full body suit and they would have a successful debut defeating 3MB. Los Matadores were doomed to fail from the start. It could have been a fun gimmick but just look at those masks. They are awful. How could anyone hope to succeed with some pink curtain wrapped around their head and Tito Santana's old tights. Why not give them some really cool Luchadore masks similar to Sin Cara's and make them into a really amazing and popular high flying team? At the moment they feel like a joke and that is they will ever be. The Matadores used to be known as Primo and Epico and while it could be argued that they were going nowhere they were probably better off. They weren't a joke and while they've had more TV time than before they will no doubt fade back into obscurity as Los Matadores. Primo and Epico are Puerto Rican so its a bit of a shame that because they are Latino superstars that WWE give them a Spanish matador gimmick. Why not give something for Primo and Epico to do because look at how WWE breathed new life into The Uso's, couldn't they have done the same with the stalling Primo and Epico instead of giving the a lousy gimmick with costume design from a kid? The best moment of the year for Diego, Fernando and El Torito came when they defeated The Real Americans at Hell In A Cell in October but this might be the highlight of Los Matadores' career.
