WWE: 6 Best Black Wrestlers Ever

4. Ron Simmons

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pN9-mxyfcPs DAMN! That's the one word that wrestling fans think of whenever they hear the name of Ron Simmons. That's because when his career was winding down in WWE, they always made it a point to do a comedy segment and have Simmons show up to let out a "damn" at the end of it to make everybody laugh. Prior to his wrestling career, Simmons was a very successful college football player at Florida State that was an All-American. Earlier in his career, Simmons was making history by becoming the first black man to win a major World Title in one of the top American wrestling promotions. He defeated the great Vader for the WCW World Title in the summer of 1992 and made history in doing so. While his career in WWE didn't see him win the WWE Title, he was still able to have a lot of success and fun as a member of the APA tag team with Bradshaw. Simmons was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.
