WWE: 6 Best Black Wrestlers Ever

2. Booker T

Booker T is the perfect example of a guy that started from the bottom and worked his way to the top of the mountain. He started out at a number of indies in his home state of Texas, he even spent some time in prison, then he found his way into WCW, carved his niche as a tag wrestler with brother Stevie Ray, became a top guy in WCW before it ended and when WWE bought WCW he was the WCW performer that was pushed the most. It showed how much Vince McMahon believed in him. Booker went on to win 6 World Championships (5 time WCW champ as he likes to remind people) and his Spinarooni is one of the biggest fan favorite celebration type moves that there is. While he was best known mostly for his babyface work, his heel work as the King of the Ring in 2006 was some of his best as well. While he is retired now, he's still a part of the WWE family and he was a part of the 2013 Hall of Fame class in New York City, which was arguably the best Hall of Fame class ever.
