WWE: 6 Best Black Wrestlers Ever

1. The Rock

The Rock is the son of one of the best black wrestlers ever, WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson, and his mother is of Samoan descent. He has gone on to become the most successful black wrestler ever and also Samoan as well. You could also make the case that he might be the most famous person ever associated with professional wrestling. His list of credentials are long, but what stands out the most are the 10 major World Title wins (counting WWE & WCW World Titles) and headlining WrestleMania five times. He's also the only man that can say that they have defeated Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and John Cena at a WrestleMania. Where Rock has made his biggest impact is in the film industry. He's not just a guy that has had a big run in wrestling, but in 2013 he was named the highest grossing actor in the world. That's not easy to do, obviously. Will Rock ever wrestle for WWE again? We don't know when that might happen again, but there's no denying that no matter his skin color he's one of the most successful pro wrestlers ever. When The Rock goes into the WWE Hall of Fame it will be one of the best speeches ever just because he's one of the best promo guys in the history of the business. We don't know when it will happen, but when it does it will be another sellout for the fans of The Great One. Few did it better than him.
